Changzhou Institute of Printed Electronics Industry (CZIPEI) was founded in 2013 at Jiangsu Province, China. It is the first facility in China that focus on printed electronics commercialization researches. The recent completed Printed Electronics Industry Park, remarked as a milestone in PE history worldwide, has a 60,000 square-meter building for factories, labs and offices for R&D, technology incubation, product development, and manufacturing. Pilot manufacturing lines consist of multiple printing, laser cutting, lamination and packaging technologies that can be tailored for manufacturing flexible sensor tags, flexible circuit, wireless communication antenna, flexible battery and other products. A printed electronics exhibition center in the industry park educates general public the PE technologies, and markets PE new products and breakthroughs to end-users for new application and business opportunities. The Industry Park also serves research teams to scale-up their prominent technologies by available seedling funds and services to engage venture capital funds.
