In the morning of May 18th, the new building of Changzhou Printed Electronics Industrial Park, the world's first printed electronics industrialization base, is formally inaugurated in a grand ceremony in Changzhou, the city of China.

The inauguration ceremony was held by local government. It also was parallel sessions of the 12th China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Technology Achievements Exhibiton. And it is an important historical event and a significant milestone for the printed electronics industry in the globe.

The inauguration ceremony was hosted by Mr. Zhengchun Chen, Director of the Administrative Committee and District Mayor from Changzhou High-tech District.   Li Yan, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and other senior government officials, as well as some experts and lots of people from all walks of life attended the ceremony.

First of all, Mr. Bin Zhou, Secretary of Party Committee of Changzhou High-tech District, made welcome speech and extended his congratulation to this inauguration ceremony. Then, Mr. Li Yan and Dr. Xiachang Zhang, President of Changzhou Institute of Printed Electronics Industry, also launched the Changzhou Printed Electronics Industrial Park.

During the ceremony, Dr. Yibing Cheng, Academician of the Australian academy of engineering, send letter of congratulation and assigned his students Professor Yong Peng from Wuhan University of Technology to extend his congratulation. Dr. Yibing Cheng said he will support Changzhou Institute of Printed Electronics Industry develop all the time. Prof. Peng on behalf of Dr. Cheng and his research team signed "flexible solar cells intelligent packaging project research and industrialization" cooperation agreement, to further expand areas of industrial cooperation.

The building with the total space of 61, 000 square meters can be loaded up to  laboratory, cleaning room, exhibition pavilion and offices, and all are being used by Changzhou Printed Electronics Industrial Park.

In the end, all inviters join in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to witness this grand activity.
